Former dissident and political prisoner Zurab Bardzimashvili was imprisoned
by Eduard Shevardnadze’s government after president Zviad Gamsaxurdia had
been overthrown in 1992. (adjudged for 10 years). he has been recognised as a
political prisoner. taken ill with oncological desease he is disabled, 64 years
old.At present he is in the Nitherlands, detained by the department of
immigration in conditions irrelavant for his health.
